HIFZ QURAN PROGRAM
This program is led by a group of teachers who are qualified to teach Arabic and Quran with Tajweed (Recitation of Qur’an). The program is available in the following levels:
Level 1 (Beginners): This level is for all those who have no or little knowledge of Tajweed rules. The goal is to teach the Arabic alphabet in an intent to gradually familiarize the students with the proper sounds of the Arabic letters. This level also includes teaching Aqueeda (Islamic Theology) and Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence).
Level 2 (Intermediate): This level will concentrate on memorizing the 30th Juzu (36 Surah) with Tajweed and Tafsir (Interpretation). This level also includes teaching Aqueeda (Islamic Theology) and Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) and Seerah (Biography) of the Prophets (Peace Be Upon Them).
Level 3 (Advanced): Memorization of the whole Quran. This level also includes teaching Aqueeda (Islamic Theology), Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Seerah (Biography) of the Prophets (Peace Be Upon Them) and Islamic History. After completing this level the student will be able to become a Quran teacher if they chose to.
How often
Tuesdays 5:30pm to 7:30pm and Fridays 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Who attends?
6 to 16 years of age Tuesdays and Fridays.
